After great efforts and successful security and service plan: Closure of the blessed Ziyarat of Sha'ban..

The rituals of the blessed Ziyarat of Sha'ban have been concluded on Monday afternoon, the 15th Sha'ban 1437 AH corresponding to the 23rd May, 2016, commemorated by the crowds of believers from the residents of Karbala and other Iraqi provinces and also visitors coming from outside Iraq, under the successful security and service plan developed by the holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) to receive the visitors of Mid Sha'ban. This success was the result of the concerted efforts and the high coordination between the two holy shrines and the local government in the holy city of Karbala. The crowds of believers have commemorated the eve of the mid of Sha'ban at the holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) by various worship acts such as the prayers, supplications and asking Allah by the interecession of the born in this blessed night to protect Iraq, its people and holy places and to bless the fighters from the volunteers of the popular mobilization and security forces with a brilliant victory over the enemies of ISIL criminal gangs.
The staff of the different departments of the holy shrine have made great efforts, each according to its competence. The works included the preparations of the basements of the holy shrine by furnishing them to provide accomodation for the visitors in addition to the creation of storage places for the luggage and belogings of the visitors. The services have also included providing transport busses for the elderly and the disabled visitors from the security check points to the holy shrine and vice versa...
Also, various busses were prepared to transport the visitors from the city center to the security checkpoints. These busses operate in several axes in coordination with the vehicles department at the Imam Al-Hussayn's (p) holy shrine and the service department in the province. Some of the busses were allocated to transport the visitors from the checkpoints to the areas nearby the holy shrines and in the three axes of the city (Baghdad, Babylon and Najaf). As well as the distribution of drinking water (RO) on the road of visitors and provide them with ice.
The staff of the holy shrine have worked in alert depolyed in every part of the holy shrine and outside it to guide the visitors to their destination.
It is to mention that the blessed Ziyarat of mid Sha'ban, the birthday of Imam Al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance) is the second largest Ziyarat taking place in the holy shrine of Karbala, after the Ziyarat of Arba'een of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) on the twentieth of the month of Safar.
