The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine opens an Institute of the Holy Quran in London..

In order to provide services in learning and Quranic studies according to the school of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and with the approach of the holy month of Ramadan, the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has opened in London a branch of its Institute of the Holy Quran of the Department of the Islamic and human knowledge, to be a Quranic school added to the series of the Institute branches scattered in most of the provinces of Iraq, and to be good debut for the opening of more branches outside Iraq.

The opening ceremony was attended by important religious and cultural figures as well as the believers. The word of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine was delivered by Sheikh Dea' Uddin Al-Zubaydi, the Director of the Institute of Quran sciences at the holy shrine, explaining: "The importance of the opening of such Quranic institutions dedicated to the publication and the Quranic education of the youth and other community segments in the foreign land, especially if these institutions follow Quranic approach and thought of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them), and this institute will be following the approach of two weighs; the holy Quran and the holy Household and will be a reference in the Quranic matters."

Sheikh Al-Zubaydi has also spoken about the urban and intellectual activities and projects of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, and he has also thanked the Noor Charity Foundation and its officials for their efforts, and also all those who have contributed in the opening of this blessed institute.

Fadel Al-Milani, a prominent religious figure in London, has participated in the opening ceremony, having an important speech at the occasion, saying: "First we would like to praise the achievements of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine at all levels, and secondly we praise the efforts of its officials to progress this work and deliver the voice of the holy shrine and the sacred breaths of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) to the farthest point across the globe." Sayed Al-Milani has expressed its support for this important Quranic project.

The ceremony has included displaying a video clip explaining the stages of printing the Holy Quran of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and paying tribute to the participants and those who have contributed in the establishment of this ceremony and those who have supported this project. Appreciation certificates were distributed to those who have participated in these sessions held by the Institute in London, as there were four sessions in the Quranic sciences, its history in Waqf and Ibtida, the rules of the recitation and the interpretation. In addition to the distribution of rings from the gifts of sanctuary of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and the presenting the flag of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) to seek its blessings.
