The French Ambassador in Iraq has visited Al-Kafeel Museum at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine ...

Within the series of visits witnessed by the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine by the religious and political figures and delegations, the French Ambassador in Iraq; Mr. Marc Baretti has visited along with a delegation, the Al-Kafeel Museum for the treasures and the manuscripts of the holy shrine. He has a tour in the pavilion of the museum accompanied by a number of the officials at the holy shrine, to brief him about the latest development, evolution and progress of the museum in term of display and storage. He has also listened to a detailed explanation about the museum's holdings and the method of presentation and how to maintain them from the climatic factors that lead to its damage. As he has shown his admiration for what he has found in the museum from precious and rare antiques such as the swords, maces, carpets and manuscripts, especially the Quranic manuscript attributed to Imam Zayn Al-'Abideen (peace be upon him). The ambassador has also expressed his admiration to the presentation vitrines made by the servants of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) of the workers in the Museum department, saying:

"What I've seen of the organization and presentation of the Museum pieces is an evidence of the great development reached by the museum department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, especially the presentation method that I did see only in the international museums. As I liked the conservation method followed by the museum in maintaining the heritage. The museum is more than fantastic, as it is considered one of the elegant museums in the world. Therefore, I extend my thanks and appreciation for all the employees and those in charge of this project."

For his part, the deputy head of the museum department Mr. Sajjad Hassan, has stated to Al-Kafeel Network: "From time to another, the Al-Kafeel museum for the treasures and manuscripts welcomes delegations and figures from various countries, including the visit of the French Ambassador. as a result of the large and continuous development witnessed by museum in term of the presentation in addition to including precious manuscripts of a great value. Though such visits give it the international impact and are a proof of its success, God willing. "

It is worth mentioning that Al-Kafeel museum welcomes now and then the visit of many delegations and figures and ambassador of the countries in Iraq, for including treasures and manuscripts of great historical and heritage value.
