On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan: The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine offers a full food basket to the martyrs' families

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is still pursuing its supporting program of the families of the martyrs who have sacrificed themselves for the defence of the homeland and its holy places, in response to the call of the supreme religious authority. And in continuation of this program, the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has offered for the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, a full food basket to the martyrs' families from several provinces, during a meeting with its officials at the basement of Imam Al-Hassan (peace be upon him) inside the holy shrine on the morning of Wednesday the 9th of the month of Ramadan 1437 AH corresponding to the 15th of June, 2016, by the distribution of a card for each family, by which they can receive the food products from any centre of Al-Kafeel food products Centres in addition to another card that allow them to have the Iftaar for the whole family at the restaurant of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.

Sayed Adnan Gelokhan Al-Musawi from the Department of religious affairs has delivered a word in which he has praised the role of these families as they have given their dear ones for the sake of this beloved country, and has stated: "Thanks to these dear sacrifices we are blessed today by the security and stability." Praising their faith and patience for the sake of the defence of the homeland, its people and its holy places.

For his part, the Deputy Secretary-General of the holy shrine; Engineer Bashir Mohammed Jassim, has explained to Al-Kafeel Network: "In fact, we have gathered today in this holy place, in order to pay tribute to the martyrs' families, as these families have offered their dearest ones for the sake of protect the land, people and holy places of Iraq, in response to the call of the supreme religious authority, following the path of the Master of martyrs Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him). Thus, it is a must for every believer loving this country to remember these families. Departing from this, the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine following the guidance of its High responsible Sayed Ahmed Al-Safi, as offered for the occasion of the month of Ramadan a full food basket from the bounties of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) to these families, which is a simple gesture. And we say that as long as the war is on, the holy shrine will continue the giving, as it is the bounties of the owner of this shrine. We ask the Almighty Allah to protect these families so they can be a good role model in this community, because their house are the martyrs' homes, and the martyrs have great status."
