The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine offers 500 thousand Hussayni Turba for prayers to the holy shrine of Imam Ar-Reda (peace be upon him).

The head of service affairs Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Haj Khalil Hanoon that the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has offered 500 thousand Karbalai Hussayni Turba for prayers made at the expenses of the holy shrine, and sent as gift to the holy shrine of Imam Ar-Reda (peace be upon him). They have received 200 thousand Turba and will receive the rest soon.
He added: "After receiving the request from the General Secretariat of the holy shrine of Imam Ar-Reda (peace be upon him) to provide them with a quantity of Turba for prayers, as the used Turba in the holy sanctuary needs to be changed, and on the other hand there is a lack of the Turba from the holy city of Karbala. And after reviewing the request, which was initially for buying, the General Secretariat of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has decided to made this amount of Turba as a gift from the shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), by sending 500 thousand Karbalai Hussayni Turba finely made in high efficient molds. The first amount sent was received with respect by the servants of the holy shrine of Imam Ali Ibn Musa (peace be upon both of them)."
The associate of the blessed places and the visitors Affairs at the holy shrine of Imam Ar-Reda (peace be upon him) stated: "Based on the directives of high responsible of the Imam Reda's (p) holy shrine, judging to replace the Hussayni Turba of prayers used in the holy sanctuary of Imam Ar-Reda (peace be upon him), we have submitted a request to the General Secretary of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, and after negotiations, we have decided to buy 500 thousand piece to use them in the holy sanctuary of Imam Ar-Reda (peace be upon him). then came the directives of the high responsible of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Ahmed Al-Safi, it has been decided to present these Turba free of charge to the holy shrine of Imam Ar-Reda (peace be upon him).
Explaining: "We all know that the visitors of the holy shrine of Imam Ar-Reda (peace be upon him) wish to have the blessing to pray on the Hussayni Turba, and they always look for it before the prayers, which caused the lack, prompting us to ask for this number of Turba, which I think will be enough to secure the need of Turba for visitors' prayers."
