The believers commemorate the second Destiny night and the martyrdom anniversary of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) at the shrines of his sons Imam Al-Hussayn and Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them).

In a scene dominated by spirituality and reverence mixed with the sorrow and anguish, the believers have commemorated the second night of the blessed Destiny nights and the night of the martyrdom anniversary of the Commander of the Faithful and the Dragonfly of religion; Imam Ali Ibn Abi Taleb (peace be upon both of them) at the shrine of his two beloved sons Imam Al-Hussayn and Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him).
The holy city of Karbala has received crowds of visitors from the people of the city and beyond to commemorate this great night at the holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) and at the square between the two holy shrines, through performing prayers, reading the Holy Quran and the supplications. Most of them have spent their Ziyarat rituals and have presented their condolences at the holy shrine of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) in Najaf, then headed towards Karbala to present the condolences to Imam Al-Hussayn and his brother Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) for the martyrdom anniverary of their father.
For their parts, the two holy shrines have provided all necessary requirements for the visitors to perform the special recommended acts of this blessed night, starting by the Ziyarat of Imam Al-Hussayn and his brother Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (Peace be upon both of them) and the other acts such as reading the supplications like Dua raf' al-Masahif and Dua Jawshan Al-Kabeer collectively or individually.
The eve of the twenty first of the month of Ramadan is more important that the eve of the nineteenth, and it is recommended to revive it by the prayers and supplications, which reward is only given by the Almighty Allah. In preparation of the coming eve of twenty third of the month of Ramadan, the most important night of Destiny nights.
This night is also the night of martyrdom anniversary of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him). Thus, hundreds of thousands of visitors have headed to his holy shrine from inside and outside the holy city of Najaf to perform the Ziyarat rituals in moving atmosphere, as the city was packed wth the crowds of visitors and was covered all in black and banners expressing the seriousness of this painful tragedy on the hearts of the faithful. Noting that the holy shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) has harnessed all its security and service efforts for the success of this Ziyarat and allow the visitors to perform it with ease.
