Daily Iftaar's meals distributed by Madeef of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) to the fasters

The activities of the departments of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine were diversified during the holy month of Ramadan, so as to ensure to provide the best services to the respected visitors who are flocking to the Ziyarat of the holy shrines in Karbala during these days, the department of Madeef has harnessed all the efforts within its available resources to provide daily Iftaar's meals for the fasters.

The head of the Madeef department; Haj Kadhem 'Ebadah, has explained the following to Al-Kafeel Network: "As you know, the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine continues throughout the year to provide food to the respected visitors, both in normal days and in the Ziyarat of millions and special occasions such as the holy month of Ramadan, as feeding the faster has great reward, all from the bounties and generosity of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him). Thus, the Madeef Department at the holy shrine has started since the beginning of the holy month to open its doors to the respected visitors in order to provide them with the two meals of Iftaar and Suhur in the Madeef's hall, along with the best of services and food, including a variety of meals in line with the number of visitors in the month of fasting."

Adding: "Due to the large numbers of visitors coming to the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine during this month, and who cannot be accommodated in the Madeef hall, we have distributed daily "takeaway", including a full meal to the respected visitors throughout the holy month of Ramadan, and that through the distribution centre located outside the holy sanctuary near the gate of Imam Musa Al-Kadhem (peace be upon him), and also to ensure that all the visitors have received their Iftaar at the same time and without any delay. While during Friday's eves and due to the severe congestion, we distribute the meals to the visitors in the second branch of the distribution centre, located at the gate of Qibla of Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), with the help of the other departments that are seeking the honour of this service, such as the service affairs department, which staff distribute Iftaar's meals to the fasters inside the holy shrine."
