Financial assistance and in-kind gifts distributed by the Children Division at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to the martyrs' orphans.

Since the launch of the Fatwa of the sufficient duty for jihad, the departments and staff of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine race between each other in order to provide the necessary and to sustain the momentum of the battle to liberate the Iraqi land from the clutches of the terrorist and Takfiri gangs. And inspired from the Hadith of the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household): "I and the custodian of an orphan are (together) in Paradise.", and so in appreciation of the sacrifices of their fathers, the Division of childhood and youth of the Department of the intellectual and cultural Affairs Division at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has presented some financial assistance and in-kind gifts to the orphans of the martyrs of the army and the volunteers of the fatwa in addition to the children of the needy families, through the coordination with the commissioners of the religious authority in the holy city of Karbala, which is the first initiative for the Division's activities.

The head of the Childhood and the Youth Division, Mr. Sarmad Salem has explained to Al-Kafeel Network the following: "This blessed act is based on the recommendations of the Holy Prophet and his holy Household (peace be upon them) to take care of the orphans, and feeling the responsibility entrusted to us towards this segment of the society to put a smile of the orphans' faces, and all praise to God and to the Master of the Time and Order (may Allah's hasten his holy reappearance) we were able to deliver assistance to a group of orphans and needy children."

Adding: "The gifts included clothing and a range of the publications of the Childhood and Youth Division to the orphans, such as Rayaheen Magazine, Haydara magazine, Ashbal Al-Kafeel publications and a set of storyboards, in order to develop their cultural sense, in addition to modest financial gifts. And we will work in the near future -with the help of God- to train and educate these children through making them participate in the programs of the Al-Kafeel Scouts in the Scouts camping and the weekly meetings."
