The cleaning works of the dome of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him)..

The Department of the care of the holy sanctuary at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has started cleaning the holy dome of the sanctuary of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (Peace be upon him) from the outside, according to the plan set by the department in line with the weather conditions and climate fluctuations that may affect the gloss and glamor of the golden tiles that cover the holy dome, to perpetuate them and to show them in the most beautiful and radiant way befitting the sanctity of the holy shrine.

The works are conducted according to a schedule determined by the department, as some of the cleaning works are performed in the evening and others in the morning in order to ensure that the cleaning team is not exposed to the direct sunlight. The cleaning is done by using special material and equipment does not affect the gold tiles, with accuracy and high quality dazzling the eyes of the beholders.

It is to mention that years ago the cleaning works were carried out by staff from outside the holy shrine, but thanks to God and with the blessings of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), today all the cleaning works are conducted by the department staff, who have the sufficient experience on how to perform these works and the mechanisms used to make the dome and the minarets shine and be radiant befitting the sanctity of the owner of this holy shrine (peace be upon him).
