Amid a significant interaction, the summer Quranic courses continue

Since their launch in the beginning of the last month, the summer Quranic courses held by the Institute of the Holy Quran have great and significant interaction by the participants, as their number reached more than 10000 participants in all branches of the Institute inside and outside the holy city of Karbala.

These courses are conducted based on the words of the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his Holy Household): "Educate your children on three qualities: Love of your Prophet, love of Ahl Al-Bayt and the recitation of the Quran, as the bearers of Quran are under the shadow of Allah in the day where there will be no shadow but His, along with His prophets and Chosen ones." Aiming to entrench the love of the Holy Quran, love of the Prophet and his Ahl Al-Bayt (Allah's prayers be upon them) in the hearts of the bearers [hufaz] of the Holy Quran, and also to develop their religious culture and giving them a linguistic Quranic wealth.

During these courses, the students learn the rules of the recitation of Quran, Fiqh and ethics in a period of more than 45 days, three hours per day, five days a week, having Thursday and Friday off. In addition to learning lessons of how to perform ablutions, prayers and obedience of the parents and how to behave with the neighbours.

The organizers of these courses have stressed that they have found many emerging talents, which they hope will have a bright Quranic future, emphasizing that they will work on developing their Quranic skills by embracing them in other courses and in different levels.

It is noteworthy that this unique project seeks to prepare a generation that will be on the path of the two weighs; the Holy Quran and Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them). As year after the other, the numbers of the participants in these courses increase, thus after launching the project in 2011, they were about 150 students to participate, increasing to 6000 students in 2014 and to more than 10000 students in 2016.
