This is the story of 30 families fleeing to escape the wrath of the ungodly time; ISIL gangs. They were following someone who knew the roads of Nisamyyah that are far from the eyes of ISIL gangs, but the guide stopped as they arrived to mined field of 2 km, the mines were invisible and they could not know where they are put.
In this hard moment, the guide left them, to be between two options, either to move forward amid these mines or to retreat back and face torture and death by ISIL gangs.
Here, one of the present men has made a decision to move forward and the families may follow him, and if he is killed in a mine explosion, they have to back down. This man has a son named "Ali" who was not yet 15 years old, he refused that his dad go ahead in front of the families and burst into tears insisting that he should be the one to enter first the mined field, telling to his father: "If you go first and a mine explodes, where would I go me, my brothers, my sisters and mother? Let me enter the field and do this sacrifice."
The father raised then his hands to the sky and prayed... Ali entered the mined field and started to elude leaving a trace with the stick he was carrying. The families were all in tears praying for him, and his mother was closing her eyes to not see in fear for a mine to explode on her son and scatter his small body into pieces. He remained dodging until he arrived to the end of the road and waved with his hand to the families calling them to walk on the trace he has left, exactly on the line he traced with his stick, one by one, until 165 people (women, children and elder) crossed the mined field safe and sound.
They have walked following the trace left by Ali, the child, until they arrived safely and began hugging him, praying for him, thanking him and crying... The child Ali Ahmad Rashid Al-Kawalit, is certainly a young boy but his act was of the brave heroes. All respect and appreciation to your father and all love to you Ali "Allawi". You are a man at the time when the real men with chivalry, magnanimity and altruism are rare.
For his part, a delegation from the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and the Al-Abbas's (p) fighting squad has paid tribute to this great effort and outstanding heroism of the child "Ali", so they have visited him and his family and gave him a gift; the banner of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), the protector of the children of his brother Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), in appreciation for his heroic and brave role.
