The replacement ceremony of the domes' flags of Aba Abadillah Al-Hussayn and his brother Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) was held after the prayers of Maghreb And Isha on this day 30th of Dhu Al-Hijjah 1437 AH corresponding to the 2nd of October, 2016, marking the beginning of sorrows season; the sacred month of Muharram and Safar.
The rituals, which are held annually since twelve years, have been carried out in the presence of huge assembly of the believers that filled the two holy shrines and in the area between them, coming to renew the pledge of allegiance to the Master of the Free men (peace be upon him) and to start the Hussayni rituals venerating and commemorating this painful tragedy.
The beginning as usual was at the holy shrine of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) by the recitation of verses of the Holy Quran, followed by the sound of funeral melody and the call of the believers "Labbayka Ya Husayn" marking the replacement of the red flag by the black flag, followed by the replacement ceremony of the dome' flag of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him).
These rituals, which were broadcasted live on a number of satellite channels and the many websites and live broadcast windows on internet and social networking sites, were concluded by a condolences' Majlis at the sanctuary of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) led by the Radood Mullah Bassem Al-Karbala'i.
The rituals were punctuated by the words of the head of the Shiite Endowment Sayed. 'Alaa Al-Musawi, the High Responsible of the holy shrine of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) Sheikh Abd Al-Mahdi Al-Karbala'i and the High Responsible of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; sayed Ahmed Al-Safi.
These words included a number of directives and recommendations for all segments of society, such as:
1- This the flag that will rise on the dome of the oppressed to declare sadness, will rise in the hearts of millions of lovers of Aba Abdillah Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) and the people of prophecy house, and our hearts need these days to be purified by the love Aba Abdillah Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) by crying and lamenting on him and on his tragedy with his family (peace on them).
2- What we expect from the reform and goodness for this country, must be based on the reform of our hearts, as all kinds of goodness are accomplished only with dedication and sincerity of the good and purified hearts. And today, we are at the beginning of a new season for purifying the hearts, as the tear and sadness when one remembers what happened to Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) purify the hearts and souls of the believers and make them ready for the reform and righteousness.
3- One of your fingernails is better than all the world's terrorist and those who stand behind them.
4- The religious authorities have given directives about how to commemorate these days, so we must adhere to these guidelines.
5- The fighters of the popular mobilization and the security forces were inspird from this revolution to achieve victories, as they are the sons of the Hussayni tears.
6- Your presence is a renewal of loyalty and allegiance to the Master of the Free ones (peace be upon him) and follow his path.
7- It is worthwhile while we recall the tragedy of Taf and its values of sacrifice, selflessness and redemption to remember the martyrs' families in order to take care of them and of their orphans, as they have made great sacrifices for our sake, as without the Mercy of Allah, the Fatwa of the religious authority and the blood of those martyrs, the gangs of ISIL could have desecrated Baghdad and all the land of Iraq.
8- We hope from the writers to document the heroes' stories to be lessons for future generations, without forgetting th wounded who have given themselves as sacrfice for the protection of the land and honor. We must sustain these principles of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) and we recommend our brothers in the Hussayni processions to multiply and concentrate in their slogans and poems the mention of the Mujahideen and their sacrifices for the defense of the homeland and its sanctities.
