The woman example in the Hussayni camp: A woman who prepares her child for martyrdom

If we search in the history for chaste women who came to the timeless battle of At-Taf and had the honor to be present at the camp of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), we not that they are mother, grandmother, sister, maternal and paternal aunts, daughter, granddaughter and wife.. Each of them has a duty that is different that the other, the faith unifies them with its finest humanitarian concepts that were brought by Islam and were summed up in the person of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him). From those examples of loyalty and valor is: Bahriyah Al-Khazrajiyah.
Bahriyah daughter of Mas'oud Al-Khazraji, is the mother of 'Amru Son of Junadah. she was an example for women, as she had prepared her child for martyrdom. She has attended Karbala with her husband Junada Ibn Ka'b Al-Khazraji, who were martyred in front of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), and since she did not have any other mean to defend the truth apart from her son who was not more than ten years old, she came to him and made him wear the warrior clothes, gave him the sword and told him: O son, go and fight for the sake of the son of the Messenger of Allah (Prayers of Allah be upon him and upon his holy Household).
When he went out for the war, Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) has seen him and said: This young man's father was killed in th battle, and perhaps his mother will not appreciate him going out to fight. The child said: O son of the Messenger of Allah, may my father and my mother be sacrifice for you, my mother has ordered me to do so, and she was the one giving me the sword. Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) allowed him until he stood up in the battlefild saying:
My prince is Hussayn and he is the best prince
The delight of the soul the bringer of good tidings and the warner
His countenance is like the forenoon sun
His forehead is like the enlightening full moon.
He fought bravely until he attained the martyrdom honor. The enemies cut off his head and threw it to the army of Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him). His mother took the head, hugged him and said: Well done my dear son, the apple of my eyes, she tood up and to a tent pole and went to fight the army of Ibn Sa'd and repeated the verse Umm Wahad has said. But Imam Al-Hussayn (peace b upon him) has ordered her to come back.
She was a real example of generosity in sacrifice, knowing her real religious duty, loyal and true lover of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them), ascetic and interested only in the other world.
