With a unified processions: Students of Iraq Universities and Institutes commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Al-Hussayn and his holy family (peace be upon them)

Professors and students of Iraq Universities and Institutes have commemorated in Saturday the 20th of Muharram 1438 AH corresponding to the 22nd October 2016, in a unified condolence procession to present the condolences for the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Al-Hussayn and his holy family (peace be upon them), the mourners lined in form of groups each of them had the name of one of the supporters of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), headed by a group of bearers of Iraqi flags.
The procession started from the road of Qibla of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), entering his holy shrines, then passing between the masses of believers in the area between the two holy shrines chanting elegies and slogans showing the greatness of the tragedy, and arriving to the holy shrines of the Master of martyrs Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), where the procession has concluded its parade by a lamentations condolences Majlis
Prof. Dr. Adnan Hussain, Director of the Activities Department at the South Technical Univesity has explained to Al-Kafeel Network the following: "Traditionally every year the professors and students of Iraq Universities and Institutes organize a unified procession to offer condolences for the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) and his saint family, and this procession is done to commemorate this sad event, in which blood has triumphed over the sword and the right over the wrong. Promising him at the same time to move forward on the path of the Al-Hussayn the martyr (peace be upon him), which was lined by his pure blood and which has become a beacon for all freedom-seekers in the world, and to be soldiers fighters and knowledge bearers for the defense of Iraq's land, people and sanctities. And also to motivate the students to search about this tragedy, its objectives and all its surrounding factors, and showing that it was a divine plan through the choice of the Imam's companions (peace be upon them), who were of all age categories, which is an evidence that regardles of the position or age, one has the opportunity to be Hussayni by raising the flag of right."
It is worth mentioning that all kind of condolence processions still continue flocking to the two holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) to offer the condolences for the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Al-Hussayn, his saint family and companions (peace be upon them all).
