The Supreme Religious Authority to the fighters: O blessed heroes, you have taken the responsibility of defending Iraq, its people and its sanctities in the darkest circumstances and you were by Allah at the level of this great responsibility.

The Supreme Religious Authority has confirmed that the blessed heroes, who are fighting with pride, honor and dignity the criminal gangs in the battlefields, have borne the responsibility of defending Iraq, its people and its sanctities in the darkest and most difficult circumstances and they were at the level of this great responsibility. Indicating that with the time their determination is stronger to continue fighting until achieving the great goal, sacrificing their souls and bloods and tens of thousand of martyrs and wounded for this sake. The religious authority has also showed that these heroes are our pride and honor as they are making history by participating in the battles of heroism and redemption. These were the important points stated in the second sermon of Friday's prayer of the 19th of Muharram 1438 AH corresponding to the 21st of October, 2016 held in the holy shrine of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) and led by Sheikh Abd Al-Mahdi Al-Karbalai, in which he stated:
Dear brothers and sisters, I would like to introduce to you the following point:
O blessed heroes, We are proud of you, you have borne the responsibility to defend Iraq, its people and sanctities in the darkest and mot difficult condition for more than two year, and you were by Allah on the level of this great responsibility, you did not get tired or bored, but with the time your determination has become more strong to continue fighting until achieving the great goal, sacrificing their souls and bloods and tens of thousand of martyrs and wounded for this sake, and you are making history by participating in the battles of heroism and redemption in the battlefields.
And we hope that you are close to the final victory over the ISIL's terrorists by cleaning all Iraqi lands from the impurity of their presence and pushing away their menace, so the homeland will return to its unity and the displaced may return with honor to their houses. And we look forward to the day that we may turn this painful page of Iraq's history, which is full of bloodshed, ruin, groans of the bereaved, tears of orphans and wounds of the injured, to open a new page filled with security and stability all over this country in which all its various components may come together to build their country away from hatred, taking lessons from their past bitter experiences, paying attention to their mistakes and sins and avoid repeating them, no allowing to any foreigner to exploit their differences to interfere in their internal affairs and violating the sovereignty of their country using false pretenses as it is the case these days.
