The office of the Supreme Religious Authority announces Wednesday the first day of the month of Safar

The office of the Supreme Religious Authority; Sayed Ali. Al-Sistani, has announced Wednesday as the first day of the month of Muharram.

The office has mentioned in its statement that tomorrow Tuesday is the 30th of the sacred month of Muharram and thus Wednesday the 2nd November 2016 is the first of the month of Safar of the year 1438 AH.
