Then came the word of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine delivered by Sayed Adnan Gelokhan Al-Mussawi from the Religious Affairs Department, stating:

"O Master Aba Al-Fadl, we stand today to raise high your flag, which remained lofty. Recalling the words of our master Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) when you have asked him the permission to fight and he told you: O my brother, you are my standard bearer and the head of my army, if you go, all of us will go in dispersion... Thus Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) alone was an army and has terrified the enemies as none of them dared to approach to the tents of Aba Abdillah until after his martyrdom (peace be upon him), and none of the saint ladies and the orphans have complained of thirst until after his martyrdom. And also Imam Zayn Al-'Abideen (peace be upon him) has said: "My uncle Al-Abbas has a status that the martyrs wish to have in the day of Resurrection… All of which for his sacrifices, pride and surrendering to the will and destiny of God, so the Almighty Allah, his angels and prophets greet him."

Adding: "We are standing today after these successive years to raise your distinguished flag above all the flags, like in every year, so those believers can gather in your host that receive nearly two million visitors a year. Therefore, we must thank the Almighty God for giving us the success to establish this edifice and for having the honour to raise this flag. So all praise and thank to the Almighty God who made us at the service of the servants of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), and we thank this venerable Lady Om Al-Baneen (peace be upon her) who gave birth to this hero and his blessed brothers, sons of the Commander of the Faithful Ali Ibn Abi Taleb and his mother the descendant of the faithful loyal tribe. And we also stand in honour and thank the heroes in the battlefields defending the sanctities and we thank all those who contributed in the service of the Master Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon his) and his blessed visitors."

Then the attendees headed to raise the flag of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), on which was written "Peace be upon You of standard bearer of Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him)", raised accompanied by "Pride's tune" the special chant of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.
