The Al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad announces the completion of the military operation entrusted to it within the south-west axis of Mosul.

The leadership of the Al-Abbas's (p) fighting squad has announced the completion of its mandated military operation in the south-west axis in Mosul, which was launched yesterday Tuesday the 7th of Safar 1438 AH corresponding to the 8th of November, 2016 within the operations of "We are coming, Nineveh", the victory and the liberation of three villages "eastern Tayesh, western Tayesh and Um Qurun" and has secured the strategic road.

Stating: "The operation was completed in a record time within the principal axis entrusted to it with a length of 8 km with the support of the squad of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) of the holy shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him). The operation was carried out in accordance with the highest degree of caution in order to preserve lives of civilians, whom were dealt with the highest level of human rights, and some of the displaced families have returned to those villages to their homes after confirmation of their identities."

It is worth mentioning that the operation has started on yesterday morning, with the participation of various troops of this squad; elite forces from all brigades; brigade of Al-'Alqami, of Om Al-Baneen and Al-Kafeel, as well as the rest of other units such as forces of anger, directed march, artillery, missile, electronic surveillance, and service and logistic units as well as armoured troops.
