To avoid severe congestion: the staff of the Engineering Maintenance Department set up barriers for the visitors of the holy shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and the sanctuary of its holy hand.

The staff of the Engineering Maintenance Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has set up as part of its assigned works during the Ziyarat Arba'een of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), wooden barriers in the holy sanctuary of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and another one for the sanctuary of its holy hand located outside the holy shrine, as they are experiencing severe congestion in the movement of the visitors.

The barriers of the holy sanctuary in the men side, start from the gate of Qibla and stick to the holy grid by a metal triangle that divides the visitors to two halves, the first makes the visitors circumambulate around the grid and exit from towards the eastern gate of the holy shrine, and the second makes them circumambulate around it and go out towards the western gate of the holy shrine. Same thing was conducted for the opposite side of the gate (in front of the gate of Imam Al-Jawad).

With the help of these barriers, the movement of the visitors is highly smooth without any incidence of congestion or scramble around the holy grid.

The other barrier was installed at the sanctuary of the holy hand, located outside the holy shrine in front of the gate of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) to isolate women from men on the one hand, and to ensure the smooth flow and movement for the entry and exit of the visitors on the other hand.
