The Department of Vehicles at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine proceeds the execution of its special plan for the transfer of visitors.

Within its special duties in the Ziyarat of Arba'een, the Department of Vehicles at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has proceeded the execution of its special plan for the transfer of visitors using various types of vehicles in several capacities on all the internal and external axes in order to reduce the crowding cases that happen in the transfer process.

The deputy head of the mentioned department M. Maitham Abd Al-Ameer has explained to Al-Kafeel Network the following: "The vehicles' department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has started executing its special plan for the transfer of the visitors coming to the holy city of Karbala to commemorate the Arba'een of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), in coordination with the leadership of Karbala operations and the vehicles' department in the holy shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), as the transfer operation is one of the most important services needed by the visitors coming to the holy shrines in the holy city of Karbala during this blessed Ziyarat, the duties of our department have been dispatched on many internal and external axes, including the internal axis for the transfer of the visitors in the area of Sayeda Jawdah near the area of Twayreej's gate, and from the intersection of the tax to the intersection of education, and the external axis -the most important axis- the visitors are transferred from the bridge of Salam to the inspection of Om Al-Hawa, which is one of the most important axes.

And he added: "Many of the vehicles of the holy shrine participate in the transfer process in various capacities and sizes, including: 108 mini-busses with the capacity of 24 passengers, 19 bus for 45 passengers, and also the service vehicles such as: the ambulances, fire extinguisher vehicles, waste collection vehicles, vehicles for the distribution of drinking water to the processions, in addition to the participation of the Ittihad sugar factory with 200 busses to support our plan, as we transfer the visitors from the bridge of Salam to the outer inspection points and then to their provinces.
