To commemorate the Arba'een of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) the Zinjeel condolences' processions are flocking to the two holy shrines.

Since Thursday morning 16th of Safar 1438 AH corresponding to the 17th of November, 2016, the Zinjeel Hussayni condolence's processions started flocking to the shrines of Aba Abdillah Al-Hussayn and his brother Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) to commemorate his Arba'een and to renew the Covenant in staying firm on his path and to adhere steady to the objectives of his blessed uprising, coming from various Iraqi provinces, according to a special schedule prepared for this purpose.

These processions include among their ranks crowds of mourners from various age groups, all of which are coming to present the condolences in the anniversary of this tragedy. Their entry into the two holy shrines is supervised by the Department of rituals and Hussayni processions in Iraq and Islamic world in an organized way according to specific timing for each procession to avoid cases of intersections between them and to ensure the smooth flow of their movement with the movement of the visitors.

Their star is from the road of Qibla of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) to enter to his holy shrine then the processions parade amid the masses of the believers in the area between the two holy shrines to enter to the shrine of the standard-bearer Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) from the gate of Imam Al-Hassan (peace be upon him) then go out from the gate of Qibla.
