The mourners start the second phase of the commemoration of the Arba'een of the Master of martyrs (peace be upon him) by the condolence's processions (lamentations)

Once the Zinjeel condolence's processions, which have lasted over the last two days with the participation of processions from inside and outside Iraq, have finished, the mourners have started the second phase of the commemoration of the Arba'een of the Master of martyrs (peace be upon him) by the condolence's processions (lamentations) in the morning of Saturday 18th of Safar 1438AH corresponding to the 19th of November 2016, as the lamentations processions started flocking to the holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) with hearts filled with grief and sorrow to present the condolences for the Arba'een of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) chanting elegies and renewing the covenant, especially that this season of the Ziyarat Arba'een has witnessed a wide participation of the condolence's procession and the dear visitors.

These processions start from the road of Qiblah of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) to enter to his holy shrines and parade amid the crowds of visitors in the area between the two holy shrines and entering the sanctuary of the standard bearer Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) from the gate of Imam Al-Hassan (peace be upon him) then go out from the gate of Qiblah. all of which is conducted according to timetable prepared by the Department of rituals, processions and Hussayni bodies to ensure the smooth flow of the visitors' traffic to avoid any kind of intersection between the processions and the visitors, despite the intensity of the crowd, which began increasing day after the other with the approach with the day of the Ziyarat.

It is to mention that the Department of rituals, processions and Hussayni bodies starts early each year to prepare everything in relation with the rituals of Arba'een of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) in order to ensure the smooth flow of the processions' movement to not let them intersect with the visitors traffic.
