The efforts of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine for the children and the elderly

The storing department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has deployed many centres to identify children and elderly on all roads leading to the holy city of Karbala, namely: (Najaf - Karbala), (Baghdad - Karbala), (Babylon - Karbala) as well as the city centre under the supervision of the service affairs department, in addition to other centre at the outer host complex of the holy shrine and its service complexes (Al-'Alqami, Om Al-Baneen (peace be upon her) and Sheikh Al-Kulayni), in addition to the service processions that have done the same thing.

The number of the workers in this service from the employees and volunteers, has been increased this year, as a result of the success of these centres, which have been able to contribute to the reduction of lost and missing cases, especially children.

The centre has printed one million copy of identification card for this purpose, on which is written the name, the phone number, the name of the guardian and his address. This card is to be hang on the neck so it is easier to guide the person when lost using this identification badge/ card.

In case of finding a lost person, he/she is welcomed in a special place prepared for this purpose, then to be sent with one of the workers to the centre to deliver him/her to the general centre for missing and lost, which contacts the guardian and asks him to come and collect the lost after providing the evidence.

It is noteworthy that these centres have been deployed within a plan that was prepared in advance depending on the roads and axes that witness high intensity in the movement of visitors in addition to the nearby roads to the two holy shrines.
