The servants Sayeds from the staff of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine participate in the service of the visitors of their grandfather.

Among those who have the honour to serve Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him); a number of the Sayeds working in a division linked to the General Secretariat of the Al-Abbas' (p) holy shrine, entitled "the division of servants Sayeds", and who have many tasks throughout the year especially during the Ziyarat of millions such as the Ziyarat Arba'een of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), in which they have additional tasks either inside the holy shrine or they are presents on the roads' axes used by the visitors, wearing their traditional uniforms giving them more spirituality and tranquillity.

Among the tasks of the servants Sayed:

1- Their constant presence inside the holy shrine.

2- Their contribution in organizing the passage of the visitors.

3- Helping the Department of processions in organizing the movement of the condolence's processions.

4- Performing some cleaning to the holy sanctuary.

5- Contributing to organize the prayer ranks

6- Receiving the visitors at the entrances of the visitors’ complexes scattered on the outer roads leading to the holy city of Karbala.

7- Participating in the distribution of food to the visitors on these complexes.

8- Guiding the visitors during their march.
