In pictures: New curtains decorating the doors of the sanctuary of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) with the arrival of the month of Rabi' Awwal.

With the arrival of the month of Rabi' Awwal and after the end of the season of Mohammadian sorrows (months of Moharram and Safar), the curtains that had been placed at the gates of the holy sanctuary of the tomb of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) of black colour were replaced with new curtains with a cloth of high quality and durability commensurate with the status of this holy place. the cloth is of upscale velvet cloth of dark gren in harmony with the marbre color found in the holy sanctuary.
These curtains were stitched like what in the old curtains in terms of the type of lines and inscriptions using gold and silver thread according to special measurements and ratios for each line and inscription.
The total cloth used to manufacture thse curtains is 240 meters for eight curtains in the number of the doorss of the holy sanctuary. The used cloth for the manufacture of these curtains and its other pieces is a donation as part of a vow fulfilled by a lady to Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) under the supervision of the department of gifts and vows at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine with the participation of the department of the holy shrine's care.
