Graduates of military college perform the oath of their graduation at the shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), and promise him to follow his approach and defend the soil of this homeland and its sanctities.

As in tradition, the graduates of military colleges in Iraq have performed the oath of their graduation in front of the sanctuary of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), either individually or collectively, which was done by a group of the graduates of the fourth military college in the province of Nasiriyah in the afternoon of Tuesday 6th of Rabi' Awwal 1438 AH corresponding to the 6th of December, 2016, who lined to perform the oath of allegiance to this country, promising to defend the soil, ecurity and stability of this homeland, to be a sacred covenant in the service of our country Iraq and maintaining its security and stability.
The brigadier Abdul Karim Sawadi the commander in the mentioned college has stated the following to the Al-Kafeel Network:
"Today, we were honored, all praise to God, to visit the sanctuary of the Master Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) to take the oath in the presence of the army commander of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), who has given the utmost content lessons in brotherhood and bravery, and was the best military commander, and this greetings and oath of these officers are as debt for their country and its service in the best way and to protect the security of Iraq from the danger of terrorism and criminals and all those who want to threaten it. And we are very proud that our graduates perform it in front of the standard-bearer of Imam Al-Hussayn, Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them)."
Adding: "We are today in the holy city of Karbala promising our Master Imam Al-Hussayn and his brother Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) to be loyal soldiers in the service of the homeland, and that our first goal is to protect our homeland, its people and sanctities. Noting that the number of the graduates is of 221 lieutnants, from both air forces and air defense."
