The servants of the two holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and of Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) present their condolences to the Owner of the Order and Time on the martyrdom anniversary of his father Imam Al-Hassan Al-'Askari (peace be upon both of them)

The servants of the two holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and of Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) have paradd in a unified condolence procession after dohr prayer on Thursday 8th of Rabi' Awwal 1438 AH corresponding to the 8th of December, 2016, led by a number of the officials and heads of the departments at the holy shrine, to commemorat the martyrdom anniversary of the eleventh Imam of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them), and to present their condolences to the Owner of the Order and Time (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance) on the martyrdom anniversary of his father Imam Al-Hassan Al-'Askari (peace be upon both of them).
The parade was launched from the holy sanctuary of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) followed by a crowd of believers and visitors to the area between the two holy shrines, heading towards the shrine of his brother Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) to present their condolences for the martyrdom anniversary of his grandson Imam Al-'Askari (peace be upon him), while chanting elegies and mourning poems to show the greatness of the tragedy that has befallen on the faithful in general and on Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in particular. The conclusion of these rituals was at the holy sanctuary of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) by a condolences' Majlis of "Latm".
On the other hand, the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine was fully ready to receive the condolences' processions, and a condolences' Majlis (lecture) was helf at the Hall of honors led by Sheikh Salah Al-Karbala'i, the head of the religious affairs department at the holy shrine, by the presence of a number of its officials and employees.
It is worth mentioning that Imam Al-Hassan Al-'Askari (peace be upon him) was martyred in the eigth of the month of Rabi' Awwal in the year 260 AH, and he was only 28 years old, after being poisoned on the orders of Al-Mu'tamid Al-Abbasi.
