The Department of Education and Higher Education at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine confers with the Global House in London to open an English Language Centre.

After the great success of the Language Learning Centre of English and Persian for non-native speakers of the College of Humanities studies at the Department of Education and Higher Education, and within its plan to expand these activities aiming to raise the knowledge level of Iraqi students and to contribute in alleviating their shoulders, the mentioned department has held a discussion meeting with the coordinator of the Global House in London for the opening of a new Centre for teaching English.

The presidency of the Department of Education and Higher Education at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine represented by Prof. Dr. Abbas Al-Mussawi, with the presence of the educational Associate Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Al-Ali and the teaching Associate Dr. Jassem Al-Ibrahimi and the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities; Dr. Safa' Al-Mussawi, have hold an expanded meeting to discuss ways of cooperation with the British Centre of English Language (the Global House in London), by opening a Centre for the teaching English Language by British educational staff and under the management of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.

At the end of the meeting, it was agreed with Dr. Yassin Al-Ansari the coordinator of the Global House of London to sign a memorandum of understanding between the House and the Centre of language teaching in the Faculty of Humanities in the Department of Education and Higher Education.
