The holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and of Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) have finished their preparations for the annual celebrations of the birth anniversaries of the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) and his grandson Imam Ja'far As-Sadeq (peace be upon him).

The holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and of Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) have completed all preparations for the annual celebrations of the birth anniversaries of the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) and his grandson Imam Ja'far As-Sadeq (peace be upon him) which will start on Thursday afternoon 15th of Rabi' Awwal 1438 AH corresponding to the 15th of December, 2016, under the slogan "And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds." and will last for three days.

The celebrations' program will be as follows:

On Thursday, the 15th of Rabi' Awwal 1438 AH:

At 3 pm:

The opening ceremony at the holy shrine of Imam Al-Hussayn including:

1- The recitation of verses of the Holy Quran.

2- The word of the General Secretariats of the two holy shrines.

3- The word of the representative of the popular mobilization forces.

4- The word of the representative of the honored families of the servants of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).

5- A poem of vertical poetry.

6- The Announcement of the steps dedicated by the visitors of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) to the fighters of the popular mobilization and security forces.

7- Paying tribute to the families of the servants of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him)

At 7 pm:

*A popular poetry celebration at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine by a group of poets of folk poetry.

*A Quranic evening held by the House of the Holy Quran at the holy shrine of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).

Friday 16th of Rabi' Awwal 1438 AH:

At 10 am:

An event of Al-Kafeel Scouts held in the basement of Imam Musa Al-Kadhem (peace be upon him) by the Division of Childhood and Youth at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine.

At 3 PM:

*A research lecture about the life of Imam As-Sadeq (peace be upon him) in the hall of the Seal of guardians (peace be upon him) at the holy shrine of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him)

*Holding a draw for the winners in the competition of learning by heart the testament of Imam Al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance) held by the Department of General Activities at the holy shrine of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).

At 7 pm:

*A Quranic evening held by the Institute of the Holy Quran at the Holy Shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

Saturday 17th of Rabi' Awwal 1438 AH:

At 10 AM:

A women celebration in the hall of Imam Al-Hassan (peace be upon him) for the occasion by presenting a women theatre play about the marriage story of the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) and Lady Khadija (peace be upon her) held by the division of the women's Library at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.

At 3 pm:

1- A Research lecture about the life of the Greatest Prophet Mohammad (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) in the hall of Imam Al-Hassan (peace be upon him) held by the House of the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) of the international Al-'Ameed Centre for research and studies of the Department of the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine.

2- The announcement of the opening of the electronic reference of informatics of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine.

3- The distribution of gifts and shields to the participants in the celebrations, the journalists and the employees of the website.
