New lamps for the holy sanctuary of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him)

The Division of Electricity of the Department of the Engineering Maintenance has ended all works of replacing the lamps of the holy sanctuary of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) with new lamps with high efficiency and consuming less power, as well as their beauty and strong light to fit with the rest of finishing works taking place in the holy shrine, from the installation of the artistically cut glass pieces, chandeliers and others.

The lamps were put on the outside of the upper and lower 134 Iwans of the holy sanctuary. These lamps are economic LED with a power of 4 watts and 5 watts, making one Iwan that contains approximately 50 lamps need only one ampere to operate. They were distributed in two colours, red for the condolence occasions and white for the normal days.

Green colour lamps have been installed to show the entry and exit gates towards the holy shrine, and which were fed by a main source and another reserve source of UPS in the case of major outages to ensure the continued power.
