The Associate of Iranian Health Minister: Al-Kafeel Hospital is a landmark in the Iraqi health institutions.

The Associate of Iranian Health Minister in Education Affairs; Dr. Emami Razavi has stated that the Al-Kafeel Specialist Hospital of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is a landmark in the Iraqi health and medical institutions, and we are ready to cooperate with it.

This came during the visit of a delegation including him and the head of Tehran University of Medical Sciences; Dr. Jafarian, the head of the surgery Board in Iran Medical University; Dr. Baqa'i, the head of the Board of Shahid Beheshti Medical University; Dr. Afshar, The surgeon Dr. Akbari and the member of the ministerial board visit Al-Kafeel Hospital in Iraq. The delegation has done a field tour accompanied by the Director General of the hospital; Dr. Haydar Al-Bahadli to visit the hospital facilities, departments and to see its sophisticated medical devices and equipment.

The visiting delegation had a meeting with the High Responsible of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine Sayed Ahmed Al-Safi, in which he has stated: "Al-Kafeel Specialist Hospital is progressing to provide the best of the medical services, making strides in this area, as the hospital has brought elite of doctors working in several specialities, who have provided their medical services in their countries, along with the talented Iraqi doctors either in or outside the country, as the hospital is opening its doors to receive the most skilled and sincere doctors in order to achieve the goal for which it was established; to contribute to alleviate the burden of the Iraqi citizen and to fill the shortage of the health institutions in Iraq."

The Iranian Medical delegation was impressed by the Al-Kafeel Specialist Hospital and its sophisticated medical equipment that are consistent with the skills of the supervising cadres of its management, and has expressed its full readiness to cooperate in the medical fields.
