The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine paid tribute of Friday afternoon the 14th of Rabi' Thani 1438 AH corresponding to the 13th December, 2017 through the closing ceremony of the second education conference held under the auspices of the Institute of heritage of Prophets (peace be upon them) of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, tribute was paid to an elite from the teachers of the Al-Hurriyah city in the province of Baghdad, held in the hall of Imam Al-Hassan (peace be upon him) for conferences and seminars at the holy shrine in appreciation for their considerable efforts in teaching the community in order to build a sound generation that contributes in the services of the country.
The closing ceremony, which was attended by the High Responsible of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Ahmed Al-Safi and the respected sheikhs in addition to a group of teachers, has begun with the recitation of verses of the Holy Quran and the reading of Surat Al-Fatiha in memory of the martyrs of Iraq, followed by the word of the High Responsible of the holy shrine in which he said: "The teaching and the education is a prophetic task that came in the holy books, and the apostles came to teach people, as the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) has said: "I was sent as teacher!" in fact the teacher elevate others when giving them the knowledge an removing ignorance from their minds, knowing that ignorance is the worst of vices..."
Then came the word of Mr. Khamis 'alwan Dhaher the representative of the teachers in the second education conference, in which he stated: "We address our thanks and appreciation to the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine represented by its High Responsible Sayed Ahmed Al-Safi for his precious guidance during the last Friday sermon about the respect of the teach and the school and how to develop them accordingly. The thanks go also to the respected Sheikhs and all those who contributed in this blessed gathering to pay tribute to the teachers of Al-Hurriyah area. In fact, knowledge is the basis and spirit of life, he who does not own it does not have a life, and the knowledge complements the faith in God and in those that Allah has chosen for His message, and one's faith growth with his knowledge. And the educational process is a necessary need for all nations, and it is in the heart of the belief of the Muslim either in the theory or in converting it to a life and real system."
Followed by the word of Sayed Mohamad al-'Arabi the representative of the delegation and in which he said: "The Almighty God has honoured the humanity with the knowledge and made it a light to guide us..."
There was also a word of Mr. Kadhem 'Aliwi the head of exams department in the district of Hurriyah, in which he stated the importance of the knowledge and the education and its great role in the progress of the country, explaining some of the difficulties faced by the teachers especially in the last few years, calling to take serious and practical steps in order to overcome these obstacles.
Followed by the word of Sheikh As'ad Al-Zubaidi, the agent of the religious authority in the district of Hurriyah, which was in form of a lecture in which he has spoken about the success elements for the person to be a preacher to himself before others, which is a high level of behaviour to be a role model, especially in the cloudy conditions that might commend our resolve, but we have to keep insisting to find beneficial solutions for breeding a generation that will take the reins of this country to the good and safety.
The closing word was of Sheikh Hussein Al-Turabi the Director of the Institute of the heritage of Prophets (peace be upon them) for electronic Hawza studies, in which he stated: "Dear brothers and sisters, let us be of those who have borne the burden of the message in the difficult time." urging the teachers and professors to perform their duty in the fullest in order to build a sound generation that contributes to the building of this country each by performing properly his duty. The conference was concluded by paying tribute to the professors and lecturers.
