In pictures: The Fatimi sorrows overwhelm the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.

To commemorate the martyrdom of the Great Immaculate Saint Fatima Az-Zahra (peace be upon her), the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine was overwhelmed with the Fatimi sorrows, and was all covered with black to announce its mourning for this sad occasion. Red lamps were switched on and black flags and banners were hung at the entrances of the holy sanctuary, stating the oppression, calamities and tragedy of Lady Az-Zahra (peace be upon her), out of respect for this sad occasion and to present the condolences to the Holy Prophet and his holy Household (Allah's prayers be upon them).

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, as in every year, has prepared a mourning program including many activities and events such as religious lectures, establishing mourning Majlis to commemorate this occasion, in addition to announcing its readiness to receive the condolences' processions from inside and outside the holy city of Karbala, as well as the unified condolences' procession of the servants of the holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) on the fourteenth of Jumada Al-Ula to present the condolences to Imam Al-Hussayn and his brother Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them).

It is worth mentioning that the Almighty Allah has hidden the Laylat al-Qadr [Night of Destiny] in the last ten nights of the holy month of Ramadan, so the slave may perform his worship and prayers more than one night by reviving each of them as the night of Qadr. He has also hidden the middle prayer in this verse: {Maintain with care the prayers and the middle prayer and stand before Allah, devoutly obedient.} (2:238) so the person may give the utmost care to all his prayers. We conclude from this that the Almighty Allah wanted with His Wisdom that we commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Our Lady Fatima Az-Zahra (peace be upon her) more than once, through the multiple narrations speaking about that day.
