With the presence of the senior official of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine: The closing ceremony of the national competition in the art of public speaking to students in the intermediate stages.

The national competition in the art of public speaking to students in the intermediate stages, held within the activities of the national project of al-Kafeel Youth adopted by the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine aiming to consolidate the patriotism in the students' heart and to express their thoughts within the achieved victories of the security and popular mobilization forces liberating the usurped land from the ISIL gangs, with the participation of the education directorates of the central and southern provinces, by 45 participants who competed with each other and five of them will win under the supervision of special committee, was concluded on Friday 3rd of Jumada II 1438 AH, corresponding to the 3rd of March, 2017.

The ceremony which was attended by large crowd headed by the senior official of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; his eminence Sayed Ahmed al-Safi, was held at the Hall of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him) for conferences and seminars and started with the recitation of verses of the Holy Quran and reading the Fatiha in memory of the martyrs Iraq followed by the national anthem and the anthem of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.

After that, the results were announced of the winners who have given one by one their speeches in the podium, and which was as follows:

Fifth winner: Ali Salem Hammoudi from Rusafa, his participation was entitled: "Raise the flags, the hordes of the popular mobilization are advancing."

Fourth winner: *Mohsin Haidar Abdullah from Najaf, his participation was entitled: "I am the popular mobilization."

* Ali Redha Falah from Dhi Qar, his participation was entitled "notes of a martyr."

Third winner: Haidar Ali Mohamad from Dhi Qar, his participation was entitled: Desiring the martyrdom."

Second winner: Mohamad Zahed Mohamad from Babylon, his participation was entitled: "Homeland of harmony."

First winner: Muftada Qassem Abbas from Najaf and his participation was entitled: "The master of homelands."

These participations were followed by the word of the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine his eminence Sayed Ahmed al-Safi.

The arbitration committee has also delivered its explanatory word to show the mechanism used in calculating the marks of the participating students and the rules followed in terms of the accuracy of the language and the creative and literary ability, and how the degrees were divided in each phase to give the final grade.

In recognition and in appreciation for the efforts of the Directorates General for Education and their departments, appreciation certificates were distributed. This ceremony was concluded by the distribution of prizes to the winners and appreciation certificates to the remaining participants.

The teachers and educators from their side, have demanded the repetition of such competitions and the expansion of its axes to include other literary arts, in order to embrace these promising energies and to refine these talents.

It is noteworthy that this competition is held for the second consecutive year, and this year the main axis was about patriotism and the support of the popular mobilization, with the participation of 45 students from nine provinces: Karbala, Najaf, Baghdad, Qadisiyah, Babylon, Muthanna, Maysan, Wasit and Dhi Qar.
