One of the valiant knights of the al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad has joined the martyrs’ convoy.

The valiant knights of the al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad continue defending the homeland in response to the call of the Supreme Religious Authority sacrificing their souls and blood, and last Saturday the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has received a martyr of its hero fighters; the martyr Imad Jawad Hassoun al-'Ameri, who was martyred during the liberation battles in the area of Badush from the desecration of the criminal gangs within the operations "We are coming, Nineveh", to join the martyrs convoy who sacrificed their blood in defense of the soil of the homeland and its sanctities.

Ziyarat rituals and prayers were performed for him starting from the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) with the presence of a number of employees of the holy shrine and the squad, and a group of the believers, then his body was carried to the shrine of the master of the martyrs Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) passing by the area between the two holy shrines.

The martyr al-'Ameri is originally from the holy city of Karbala, and was from the first to answer the call of the supreme religious authority and has participated in several battles until he gained martyrdom in the liberation operation of Mosul in which he raised the ladder of glory and immortality.

It is to note that the al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad and the 36th brigade of the ninth division from the Iraqi Army, have recently liberated the area of Badush after that the valiant fighters have fought fierce battles in which they drawn the finest images of courage and heroism, teaching the ISIL gangs unforgettable lessons, the forces were able to liberate this area after the assault on it, resulting killing dozens of ISIL members. And it is noteworthy that our fighting forces are working currently on removing and treating the improvised explosive devices in the area.
