The first cultural festival of "The Spirit of Prophecy."

In commemoration of the birth anniversary of the Lady of the Women of the World Fatima az-Zahra (Peace be upon her), the first cultural festival of "The Spirit of Prophecy" [rouh nobowah] was held on Thursday afternoon, the 24th of Jumada II, 1438 AH corresponding to the 23rd of March 2017, held by the Division of the al-Kafeel girls school of the Department of the Islamic and Human knowledge Affairs at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine under the slogan: "Az-Zahra (peace be upon her) the treasury of science and the repository of wisdom) and which will continue for three days, on the central hall of meetings in the center of the as-Siddiqah at-Tahirah of women activities of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in the province of Karbala.

The opening ceremony of the festival began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the reader Sayed Hassanein al-Helo, followed by reading Surat al-Fatiha in memory of the martyrs of Iraq, then listening to the Iraqi national anthem and the anthem of the holy shrine. The ceremony was attended by large presence of Islamic female figures and researchers from inside and outside of the holy province of Karbala and a number of the employees and students of the al-Kafeel girls schools, as well as several dignitaries of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, led by its Senior Official his eminence Sayed Ahmed al-Safi, its Secretary-General and a number of its officials.

The Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine his eminence Sayed Ahmed al-Safi has delivered his word, in which he welcomed the festival guests from inside and outside Iraq, congratulating them for the birth anniversary of the Lady of Women of the World, the Immaculate Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her) then he spoke about the concept of education established by Lady Az-Zahra (peace be upon her) along with its sound rules in order to build an Islamic society that is committed to these concepts, which if applied in our time in practice we would be able to create a model generation for the fact the that educational issues are practical issues. His word also focused on many sides of the sacred biography of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her), urging at the same time to follow her example and set her as a model to follow as she is the ideal and the light that illumines the path of life for every women.

Then a documentary film was screened to highlight the most important women's activities in the religious schools, then a group of Quranic buds has performed a Quranic activity, followed by the poem of the poet Sayed Adnan al-Musawi, whose poem chanted about the love of az-Zahra and her infallible children (peace be upon them). And on this occasion, a group of families of the popular mobilization martyrs were honored in praise of their children sacrifices. Then the exhibition of works of art was opened. The festival will include women research sessions depending on the following axes:

1. The doctrinal and ideological impact of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her).
2. The human dimension and ideals in the biography of az-Zahra (peace be upon her).
3. The position of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her) in defending the right and sanctities.
4. The factors of family reform through the thought of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her).
5. The centrality of the Immaculate Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her) in the Islamic heritage.

The preparatory committee of the festival has allocated prizes to the winners of this research competition. As the number of the received researches has reached more than one hundred and fifteen research. The festival has also included the establishment of a competition for ladies works of art, and prizes were also set for the winners in the axes of photography, drawing and calligraphy.
