After gaining experience and skills in the manufacture of the shrines' grids, the employees of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine begin the design and manufacture of the sanctuary's grid of al-Qassem son of Imam Musa al-Kadhem (peace be upon both of them).

The employees of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, working in the field of manufacturing shrines and sanctuaries' grids, have accumulated experience, skills and craftsmanship in the implementation of such projects, translated on the ground by the project of the holy shrine's grid of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) being the first grid designed and manufactured by Iraqi hands. And in order for these experiences to be non-monopolized or limited in one specific field, the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine decided to employ its works inside and outside the holy shrine, based on several factors, most importantly the harmony between the new and modern equipment of the factory of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for the manufacture of shrines' grids, and the manpower and their experiences that made them able to design and implement magnificent piece of art.

From this point of view, the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has signed a contract with the Mazar [sanctuary] of al-Qassem son of Imam Musa al-Kadhem (peace be upon both of them) for the establishment of its new grid in the factory of the manufacture of shrines' grids.

The signing ceremony was attended by the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine his eminence Sayed Ahmed al-Safi who has blessed this work, wishing that it will be completed as soon as possible in accordance with the agreed designs, renewing his trust in the staff of technicians and smithing designers in the factory of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for the manufacture of shrines' grids and doors.

The representative and special secretary of the Mazar; Haj Karim Hussein Sagr, who signed the contract, said: "The grid of our master al-Qassem (peace be upon him) suffers from the old age and the erosion of most of its parts, and because of the large numbers of the visitors of this sanctuary, its special secretariat has decided with the financing of one of the donators -may Allah give him good reward- to start the creation of new grid with a purely Iraqi design and implementation, that is different from the existing while retaining some of its specificities."

He added about the reason of choosing the staff of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for the manufacture of this grid: "Thanks to the experience and skills of the staff working in the factory for the manufacture of shrines' grids in this field, and their craftsmanship acknowledged by the experts when seeing the grid's manufacture of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), which is a masterpiece with all its details, in addition that it was designed and carried out with purely Iraqi hands. All of this has given us the motivation to sign this contract and start the first steps to manufacture the grid of al-Qassem (peace be upon him)."

It is to note that the contract concluded between the two parties has included many points such as the manufacture of the grid according to the measurements agreed and according to the charts and schemes, the use of materials of good origins starting from the Burmese teak wooden structure and other minerals from stainless steel, gold and silver, the implementation of the lines, inscriptions and decorations with high technology and beautiful form befitting the shrine's owner. The contract has also included that the staff of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine dismantle the old grid and preserve all its parts to take advantage of it in the future by exhibiting it in the museum.
