The first day message of the Fourth Cultural week in Pakistan of "Naseem Karbala"

The Fourth Cultural week "Naseem Karbala in the Pakistani capital Islamabad, which is held by the holy shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) in collaboration of al-Kawthar University in Pakistan, with the participation of the holy shrines of Imam Ali, of Imams al-Hadi and al-'Askari and of al-Abbas (peace be upon them), was launched Wednesday afternoon the 30th of Jumada II 1438 AH corresponding to the 29th of March 2017.

Al-Kafeel Global Network has prepared this news message about the activities of the first day of this cultural week. The message includes the following:

First: At four pm -Pakistan time- the opening ceremony started with the presence of delegations of the Iraq holy shrines and a group of religious, political and cultural figures in Pakistan. The ceremony started with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the reader of the shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him); Sayed Hussein al-Hakeem, followed by the word of the representative of the supreme religious authority in Pakistan and the supervisor of al-Kawthar University his eminence Sheikh Mohsen Ali al-Najafi in which he welcomed the delegations of the Iraq holy shrines, and confirmed that it is a great honor to receive the dear brothers from Iraq, as they are bearing the culture of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and the lessons of Karbala that we all need, and we can only thank God for this great blessing, urging the brothers in Pakistan to take advantage of the presence of the dear Iraqi brothers as our people is in need of such events that bring them that much information.

Followed by the word of the Senior Official of the holy shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) Sheikh Abd al-Mahdi al-Karbala'i, delivered on his behalf by his representative in this conference Sheikh Ali al-Qar'awi.

Second: The attendees of the opening ceremony headed to the courtyard of al-Kawthar University, where the ceremony of raising flags of the holy shrines in Iraq was held, which was at the presence of a crowd of lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in Pakistan.

Third: The exhibition opening of the intellectual products of the holy shrines, including various pavilions containing Urdu language editions and the possibility to register for the Ziyarat by proxy, as well as special pavilions where the flags of the holy domes were displayed so the visitors can seek benedictions through them.

It is worth mentioning that the activities of this week will continue for five days, God willing.
