The Himalayas are the second leg of the delegations of the Iraqi holy shrines within the program of "Naseem Karbala" Festival in Pakistan.

After the closing of the fourth cultural week "Nasim Karbala", which was held by the holy shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) in cooperation with the University of Kawthar in Pakistan, with the participation of the holy shrines of Imam Ali, of Imam al-Hadi and Imam al-'Askari ad of al-Abbas (peace be upon them) from the 29th of March to the 2nd of April, held on Sunday evening the 4th of Rajab 1438 AH corresponding to the 2nd of April 2017. The delegations headed to far north of Pakistan between the Himalayas, where dozens of villages in the valley and the mountains inhabited by the lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).

The very difficult weather conditions in these remote villages, did not affect the love of these villagers to the Ahl al-Bayt (Allah's prayers be upon them) that is shining light in their hearts, which is felt as they commemorate every occasion of Ahl al-Bayt (peace eb upon them).

And at the very modest airport, hundreds of them gathered to welcome the delegations of the holy shrine, led by the representative of the supreme religious authority in northern Pakistan; Sheikh Mohamad Hasan Ja'fari.

The delegations of the holy shrines headed directly to the mosque and Hussayniyah of the Great Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household), located at the beginning of the road to the cities and villages from the airport side, to raise the flag of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) in an atmosphere of grief and longing expressed by the tears of lovers and followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).

It is worth mentioning that there are a number of rituals of raising the flag of the shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) in more than one mosque and Hussayniyyah in these villages, to be a confirmation of the words of Lady Zaynab daughter of Imam Ali (peace be upon both of them) in front of the carnage scene in Karbala, which was such that Imam Zayn al-'Abideen (peace be upon him) was on the verge of death himself. She (peace be upon her) said: "Why do I see you willing to give yourself to death, O the memory of my grandfather, my father, and my brothers! I swear that this is the covenant of God to your grandfather and your father. And God has taken the covenant of people whom are not known by the pharaohs of this land, but are known by the people of the heavens that who will come and honor these decapitated bodies, and the parts and limbs that were cut off, and raise a flag on this land, of your father's grave, a flag which would never be lowered. The tyrants work day and night to eradicate his name, but whatever they do only increases the respect for his name.”
