Closing ceremony of the poetic creativity festival of Imam Ali (peace be upon him)

The hall of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him) for conferences and seminars in the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has embraced on Friday afternoon the 16th of Rajab 1438 AH corresponding to the 14th of April 2017, the closing ceremony of the poetic creativity festival held by the competent literary library in cooperation with the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine under the slogan "Imam Ali in the poems of creators", which lasted over two days with four poetry sessions with the participation of dozens of poets from various Iraq provinces in conjunction with the birth anniversary of the master of rhetoric and oratory the Commander of the faithful (peace be upon him).

The closing ceremony, which was attended by the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine Sayed Ahmed al-Safi and a number of its officials in addition to a large group of poets, has started with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and reading al-Fatiha in memory of the martyrs of Iraq, then the fourth and final session has followed giving the opportunity to many poets to read their beautiful poems about the love of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) and numerous virtues and attributes of this great personality.

Followed by the word of the senior official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine Sayed Ahmed al-Safi. And then the ceremony was concluded by honoring all the poets participating in this festival with the shield of poetic creativity, hoping that such festivals will be repeated as they enhance the bonds of communication between the members of the society and their native Arabic language.
