The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine won 13 gold medals and two silver ones during its participation in the third scientific season of the international conferences, workshops and exhibitions of raining institutions held recently in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur.

There were 21 Arab and Islamic countries participating in this season by 309 researchers who have presented diverse research, but what was provided by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine was distinctive and entered into the competition, and the researchers were able with the blessings of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) to raise high the name of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in this important international forum, in addition to raising the name of Iraq that possesses many potential in various fields.

The committee supervising the season has stated: "Seventy researchers have obtained higher grades in the evaluation of the research participating in the third scientific season, including thirteen researchers from the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine who have obtained full marks in the evaluation to win 13 gold medals." And this is an achievement added to the series of achievements of the holy shrine, which is the result of a comprehensive planning and hard work of the participants.

It is to note that the scientific season of the international conferences, workshops and exhibitions of the training institutions is a seasonal scientific event that is attended by thinkers, experts and researchers of various specialities held annually in Malaysia. And this year, the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has obtained the sponsorship rights of the season program in cooperation with "Mu'tamid" scientific institute for advanced training and studies, and other Asian and European institutions.
