Under the slogan "The liberation of al-Bashir is of Iraqi manufacture and has national dimensions", the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and the al-Abbas's (p) fighting squad has held on Sunday afternoon the 10th of Sha'ban 1438 AH corresponding to the 7th of May, 2017 a large celebration in al-Bashir Kasbah a year after its liberation by the heroes of the squad and the stationed forces with it, amid a large presence of religious, cultural and intellectual figures from all the provinces of Iraq and the representatives of the holy shrines and the forces of the popular mobilization.
The ceremony has begun with the recitation of verses of the holy Quran and reading Surat al-Fatiha in memory of the martyrs of Iraq, followed by the national anthem and the hymn of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine "Tune of pride", followed by a welcoming word of al-Bashir people delivered by the representative of the supreme religious authority in Kirkuk Sayed Mounir al-Musawi followed by the word of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine delivered by sheikh Kamal al-Karbala'i and then the word of the General Supervisor of the al-Abbas's (p) fighting squad Mr. Maitham al-Zaidi.
There were other words such as the word of the North axis official in the popular mobilization; Mr. Abu Reda al-Najjar and a word delivered on behalf of the martyrs' families who have thanked the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and the al-Abbas's (p) fighting squad and their supporting forces for their great efforts in the liberation of this oppressed village.
Followed by many poems about the heroism and sacrifices of the fighters whose pure blood has quenched the land of Iraq. And on the sidelines of the festival, the charity institution of as-Sajjad (peace be upon him) has made a donation to marry 20 young men from al-Bashir Kasbah.
Sheikh Kamal al-Karbala'i has then delivered the flag of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to the people of al-Bashir village, received on their behalf by the representative of the supreme religious authority Sayed Qunbur al-Musawi. The ceremony was concluded by honoring the families of the martyrs who have fallen in the liberation battles of the village.
Finally, the attendees then went to the opening of the exhibition of the spoils of the al-Abbas's (p) fighting squad they got during the battles they fought in the village of Bashir and other battles.
