Explanatory lectures of the Duas of Imam as-Sajjad (peace be upon him) daily in the month of Ramadan in the Sanctuary of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

The holy month of Ramadan is a season of worship and supplication, and among the Duas that the believers read during this month are those of Sahifa Sajjadiya of Imam Zayn al-'Abideen (peace be upon him). and in order to shed light on some of the contents of these supplications and as part of the program prepared by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to revive the days and nights of the holy month of Ramadan, the Department of Religious Affairs has started a series of explanatory lecture of the Duas of Imam Zayn al-'Abideen (peace be upon him) during the holy month of Ramadan.

The lectures are held daily in the sanctuary of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) by Sheikh Ali Mohan from the Department of Religious Affairs at the holy shrine. He explained the nature of these lectures by saying: "The month of Ramadan is the month of fasting, in which the Almighty God wants people to perform this duty, in order to assure his humanity in a life filled with material atmosphere, to receive God's satisfaction and to live close to God Thus, In order to invest this holy month according to the visions and methodology of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) we organize for the third consecutive year a series of lectures that fit the nature of this holy month."

And he added: "These lectures are about the Dua of Imam Zayn al-'Abideen (peace be upon him) in the Sahifa as-Sajjadiyah about receiving the holy month of Ramadan, and which begins with "Praise belongs to God who guided us to His praise and placed us among the people of praise, that we might be among the thankful for His beneficence and that He might recompense us for that with the recompense of the good-doers!.." As it is narrated that Imam Zayn al-'Abideen (peace be upon him) used to not speak during the holy month of Ramadan but just pray and read Duas and Dhikr. And we focus in these lectures more on the employees, first because the lectures are in form of series that need a daily presence and second an attempt to draw the attention of the employees and the visitors to the importance of the holy month of Ramadan and increasing the worship acts during it."
