The closing of the tenth annual central festival of the birth anniversary of Imam al-Hassan al-Mojtaba (peace be upon him).

The closing of the tenth annual central festival of the birth anniversary of Imam al-Hassan al-Mojtaba (peace be upon him) was held at the Shrine of Lady Sharifa daughter of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon both of them) in the province of Babylon by the people of Hillah under the auspice of the two holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and of al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them), and which will last three days under the slogan: "Imam al-Hassan al-Mojtaba (peace be upon him) the wisdom of peace and pride of Islam" on the evening of Monday 16th of the month of Ramadan 1438 AH corresponding to the 12th June 2017.

The closing ceremony was attended by a large presence of scholar and religious figures, representatives of the offices of religious authority and some of the academic, cultural and intellectual figures from inside and outside Babylon province, as well as representatives of the holy shrines and sanctuaries in addition to a large number of visitors and written, audio-visual and electronic media to cover this event.

The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and standing to read Surat al-Fatiha in memory of the martyrs of Iraq, followed by a welcoming speech delivered by Sheikh Ra'oof al-Fatlawi the Secretary of the holy shrine of Lady Sharifa (peace be upon her), who has congratulated everyone for this auspicious birth anniversary and then thanked the general secretaries for holding this closing ceremony in the holy shrine.

Followed by the word of Dr. Mohamad Taleb al-Hussayni, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Quranic Studies at the University of Babylon and a member of the committee supervising the establishment of the festival.

Then the poet Najah al-'Arsan has recited a poem about Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him) and his virtues and morals.

Followed by Sayed Ali Mohamad al-Hakeem to deliver a research-oriented speech, in which he highlighted many issues and themes.

The ceremony was concluded by honoring all those who contributed and participated in the establishment of these events in addition to the Hussayni processions of Hilla, which played a prominent role in sustaining the momentum of the battle against the ISIL's gangs by continuing to provide assistance to the heroes. The attendees headed to raise the symbolic flag of Imam al-Hassan al-Mojtaba (peace be upon him) in the shrine of his daughter (peace be upon her).

It is worth mentioning that among the activities of the last day of the festival, the first forty students of the primary school of Babylon province who obtained a full mark 100%.
