Hundreds of Iftaar meals distributed by the host restaurant of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine to the fasting believers daily.

Inspired from the word of the Messenger of Allah (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household): "He who feeds among you a fasting believer during this month, his reward will be like if he has freed a slave and a forgiveness for his past sins." and within the program prepared by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for the month of mercy and forgiveness; the holy month of Ramadan, the host restaurant of the Master of generosity Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) has distributed since the first days of this holy month Iftaar meals to the visitors.

The meals are distributed in several points including the guests lounge in the host restaurant and other outer points or inside the holy sanctuary, in addition to the direct distribution whether for the needy family or the orphans' families according to the schedule and timings developed by the Host Department.

The distribution of these meals have reached its peak on Thursday nights, where numbers of meals were added to serve the large numbers of visitors , which requires intensification of efforts by the workers who compete for the service of the fasting visitors and get the honor of this service and obtain the reward of he who feed the fasting believer.

The distributed meals are prepared in advance and placed in special containers to be transported to the distribution points, which are known and specific places by the visitors.

It is noteworthy that the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has prepared a special service program for the holy month of Ramadan including many activities including this initiative.
