In pictures: The Eid prayer at the shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) and the area between them.

Within the atmosphere of spirituality and love of the Almighty Allah, His Messenger and Ahl al-Bayt (Allah's prayers be upon them), the believers have performed the prayers of Eid al-Fitr on Monday morning the first of Shawwal 1438 AH corresponding to the 26th of June, 2017 in the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) and the area between them.

The unified central prayer that was led by His Eminence Sayed Murtadha al-Qazwini and held in the area between the two holy shrines, was crowded with large numbers of visitors coming from the different provinces of the country and from some Arab countries to the Ziyarat of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) which considered as the most important act of this blessed day. While many Eid prayers were held in the sanctuaries of the Master Aba Abdillah al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them), because of the large number of visitors coming to this holy site from inside and outside the country.

The worshippers have raised their hands to pray the Almighty by the intercession of al-Hussayn and his brother (peace be upon both of them) to grant security and safety the Islamic nation and the whole world, and bestow Iraq with victory and pride face to the aggressors and enemies of Iraq, to raise high the banner of the defenders of the Iraqi security forces and the popular mobilization, and to bless the martyrs of Iraq with His wide mercy and the speedy recovery for the wounded.

It is worth mentioning that the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) have prepared a security and service plan for the blessed days of Eid, and have harnessed all their efforts to receive the visitors of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) in order to provide them with the best services in this blessed occasion.
