A delegation from the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine attends the opening of the flags' exhibition held by the University of Kufa.

In conjunction with the great victories achieved by our heroic fighters from the security and popular mobilization forces in Mosul, the Kufa university has opened, in the presence of the delegation of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, the exhibition of "Flags through the ages" on Saturday 27th of Shawwal 1438 AH corresponding to the 22nd of July 2017 in the hall of Dar Diyafa in the university city amid wide media coverage.

The exhibition, which was attended by a large number of religious and academic figures, included many pavilions of flags of Assyrian and Babylonian civilizations, as well as the flags of Prophets and Imams and Islamic flags, in addition to pavilions of pictures of the kings and presidents who rules Iraq since the establishment of the Iraqi state until today, and also a pavilion to exhibit torture means used by criminal gangs to torture innocent citizens.

The President of the University of Kufa; Dr. Mohsen al-Dhalimi has stated to al-Kafeel Network: "We congratulate the whole world for the great victories achieved by our heroic fighters of all formations in liberating the land of Iraq from the profanation of the criminal gangs. Therefore, we have establish in conjunction with these victories an exhibition of flags related to the history of Iraq. The exhibition included many pavilions of flags of Assyrian and Babylonian civilizations, as well as the flags of Prophets and Imams and Islamic flags, in addition to pavilions of pictures of the kings and presidents who rules Iraq since the establishment of the Iraqi state until today, and also a pavilion to exhibit torture means used by criminal gangs to torture innocent citizens..."

For his part, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Abd al-Razzaq al-'Issa has stated: "We have visited today this exhibition that documents a part of the history of Iraq and will be a memory for the future generations, as we consider this exhibition a nucleus to remind of the bright history of this country, which is a good step that needs to be encouraged. As for the great victories achieved in Mosul, I congratulate the Iraqi people and we thank the supreme religious authority that is the safety valve for Iraq, and we also thank all who have responded to the blessed fatwa thanks to which the land of Iraq is freed from the desecration of those criminal gangs."
