The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine mourns one of the martyrs of the Fighting Squad of al-Abbas (peace be upon him) who was martyred in liberation operations of Mosul.

The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has issued an obituary of the hero; the martyr Abbas Ali Abd Salman, one of the fighters of the al-Abbas's (p) fighting squad who was martyred while performing the sacred national duty in the liberation operations' district of Mosul, and that was when he and the member of his group have faced one of the terrorist groups that tried to infiltrate the district of their Squad's responsibilities in the area of Hadar "Khneyfsa". The following is the text of the obituary.

"In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. {And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision,} (3:169). The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine mourns a martyr of the Fatwa of the sufficient duty to defend Iraq and its sanctities from the fighters of the al-Abbas's (p) fighting squad, who was martyred while performing his sacred duty in the operations' district of Mosul. Asking the Almighty to make him join the caravan of the Ashura martyrs who were martyred with the Master of martyrs Aba Abdillah al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), and to give patience to his family and loved ones and to help us over our enemy. He is the Hearer of the supplication."

A funeral procession was organized for him to perform the Ziyarat rituals and to pray Janaza prayer, the funeral procession started from the holy shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) and his coffin was carried to the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) to perform the Ziyarat rituals on his behalf.
