To celebrate the great Iraqi victory: The al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad organizes the Festival of the Fatwa victory and the Iraqi Prime Minister praises its role in the liberation of Mosul.

To celebrate the great Iraqi victory achieved by the security and popular mobilization forces by liberating Mosul from the clutches of the terrorist ISIL gangs, the al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has organized the Festival of the Fatwa victory in cooperation with the poets convoy of "the call of the authority" on Saturday morning the 12th of Dhu al-Qi'dah 1438 AH, corresponding to the 5th of August 2017 in the hall of Sayed Mohamad Baqer al-Hakim in Baghdad University in the presence of the Iraqi Prime Minister; Dr. Haidar al-'Abbadi as well as the Ministers of Defense and Interior and the head of the popular mobilization body and high level security leaders, in addition to a large number of religious, cultural and academic figures, as well as representatives of some of the security forces and the popular mobilization and a number of martyrs' families.

The celebration was attended by the father of five martyrs; Haj Taleb al-shummari who has announced the start of the festival, which began by the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and reading al-Fatiha in memory of the martyrs of Iraq, followed by the national Iraqi anthem.

Then the supervisor of the al-Abbas's (p) fighting squad; Mr. Maitham al-Zaidi has delivered his speech in which he highlighted that the Iraqis have saved all world countries, as without the Iraqis and their sacrifices, ISIL would have hit all countries in the region.

This was followed by the word of the Iraqi Prime Minister Dr. Haidar al-'Abbadi who has stressed that the Fatwa of sufficient duty for Jihad became the fatwa of victory after that the people of the country have responded to the Fatwa of His Eminence Sayed Ali al-Sistani, and that Iraq is victorious and spreads hope to the others.

Indicating: "The victory makers are the martyrs, the wounded and the fighters, as well as the engineering and medical effort, and the heroes of the air force and of the other categories, We have won and we will continue the path of victory, and everyone should not listen to the voices of sedition as we will not allow them to return us to the past situation."

Dr. al-'Abbadi has also said: "There is a cohesion between the people and our security forces and the state, and we are facing great challenges after the liberation of the land, which is the unity of the word." Adding that preparations are under way to liberate the entire territory, with the participation of all categories of our forces, each according to its speciality. Explaining that the popular mobilization will remain under the leadership of the state and the supreme religious authority."

Stressing: "The al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad has a great and an honorable role in the operations of "We are coming, Nineveh." to liberate Mosul from the ISIL gangs."

Then a group of poets have presented their poems on the podium, and they are: Samir Sabih, Nadhem al-Hashi, Qasem al-Jizani and Abd al-Khaleq al-Mhennah, with the participation of the Radood Jalil al-Karbala'i and Kate' al-Miyahi. The ceremony has also included a pictures exhibition of the martyrs of the fighting squad of al-Abbas (peace be upon him).
