The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine sends relief aid to the displaced people of Mosul.

The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has sent urgent relief aid to the displaced people of Mosul, specifically in Tal Umm al-Jarabee' refugee camp in the area of Tal 'Abtah, whose inhabitants suffer from extremely difficult humanitarian conditions due to the large number of people in it and the lack of services.

The aid convoy, which was overseen by the Guidance and Moral and Logistic Support Committee, is part of a series of aid convoys that the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine continues to send to the displaced, either in Mosul or in other areas depending to the available resources. And this visit comes to execute the guidance of the supreme religious authority that emphasizes the need to take care of these families.

The aid provided varies between multi-item food baskets, as well as ice from the plant of the holy shrine, as they were in dire need of it due to the heat. The delegation has also toured to oversee the displaced people who gathered to receive the aids allocated to them and to listen to their problems and suffering, which need a serious pause by the government and humanitarian bodies, because they suffer a lot and what is provided does not reach the minimum level of decent living.

On their part, the camp's displaced people expressed their deep gratitude to the religious authority and to the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for this parental initiative to care for the displaced and for their continuous visits to inspect and review their conditions and to provide them continuous support in the most difficult circumstances.
